Representing Kabira Country Club, manager Faruk Muwonge said the four-star hotel along Old Kira Road has become a preferred venue for weddings, birthday celebrations, graduation parties, baby showers and bridal showers.
He said the hotel combines comfortable accommodation with modern amenities at affordable rates. Guests can also enjoy freshly baked pastries and coffee at Bake O'Logy Café, relax at The Pub, which operates 24 hours a day, or unwind at the hotel's fully equipped gym, swimming pool and tennis courts.

At Speke Resort Munyonyo, Banquet and Sales Manager Mary Goretti Asekenye said the five-star lakeside resort offers unforgettable wedding experiences overlooking Lake Victoria.
She explained that the resort boasts of eight ballrooms and nine beautifully landscaped gardens, making it ideal for both intimate ceremonies and large-scale celebrations. Couples and their guests also enjoy luxury accommodation, fine dining, conference facilities, swimming pools, horse riding and boat cruises.
Asekenye said the resort’s wedding packages are customised to suit different budgets and include a variety of cuisines prepared by professional chefs, ranging from English, French and Chinese dishes to traditional Ugandan favourites. She also revealed that Paradise Resort, a new luxury honeymoon destination, is expected to open in the coming months, giving newlyweds another reason to celebrate their special day at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

Meanwhile, Hotel Africana is promoting flexible wedding packages designed to suit a variety of budgets. Sales and Marketing Manager Derrick Otim said the hotel, together with its sister property, BMK Apartments, provides convenient accommodation options for wedding guests.
Hotel Africana features 16 conference halls capable of hosting events of different sizes and is equipped to handle even last-minute bookings. Otim said couples can choose between a three-course wedding menu priced at sh75,000 per guest or a four-course package at sh100,000 per guest.
As an added bonus, couples who book their wedding reception at the hotel receive complimentary accommodation on the night of their reception, as well as a free New Year's Eve stay, complete with a full English breakfast the following morning.

For visitors, the exhibition offers both inspiration and practical solutions. Bride-to-be Faith Nabulime was among those captivated by the stunning bridal gowns showcased on the runway. “The dresses are beautiful, and the models have made me even more excited about my wedding. I also like the prices because they are affordable.
The expo gives couples many options and allows them to discover unique ideas for their special day,” she said. In addition to wedding fashion and décor, visitors can explore travel and tourism packages designed for newlyweds.
Marasa Africa, a leading hospitality company operating hotels and lodges across Uganda and Kenya, is offering honeymoon packages to some of East Africa's most popular national parks and luxury destinations.
