This is the seventh season of the annual men's conference hosted by Apostle Grace Lubega, the general overseer of Phaneroo Ministries International, under the theme The Priest. It has attracted hundreds of men not just to play, but to pray too.
Reverend Julian Kyula from Kenya addressing guests at the Phaneroo Men Gathering on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Kololo Independence Grounds
While preaching at the Phaneroo Men Gathering on Saturday, April 20, Reverend Julian Kyula from Kenya informed the guests at Kololo Independence Grounds that depending on foreign funding is akin to selling one's birth right.
"Someone can give you a few shillings in an envelope to build a church or any project and you receive it at the expense of your destiny," Kyula said.
He went on to inform believers that God is raising a generation of rich Christians rather than compromising values for a few cents.
"If there is an Islamic way of financing, we must believe for a Christian way because paying 25% on interest from financial institutions is not feasible to build businesses," Kyula explained.
He was speaking at the seventh season of the annual men's conference hosted by Apostle Grace Lubega, the general overseer of Phaneroo Ministries International, under the theme The Priest. It attracted hundreds of men not just to play, but to pray too.
Kyula further encouraged men, saying no matter the level they are at, they should dust themselves and become the priests that God has called them to be.
Earlier in the morning, the men engaged in some stretching exercises, aerobics, archery, tag of war, pool table, quizzes and brain teasers, among other activities.
The afternoon session focused on preaching by different men of God.
Several gospel artistes including Titus Kuteesa, Kajambiya, Papa T Maurice, Zabuuri and Coopy Bly performed.
