Bishop warns Christians

The bishop advised Ugandans to keep peace, stability and patriotism and not to allow violence before, during and after elections.

BUKEDI - Christians in Bukedi Diocese should not carry to the new year wicked ways and evil deeds that characterised 2020.

The Rt. Rev. Samuel Egessa, the Bishop of Bukedi Diocese, condemned domestic violence, hatred, ritual murders, tribalism, envy, intrigue, corruption and land grabbing, noting that these have caused a lot of suffering to Ugandans.

He encouraged the faithful to preach and promote hard work, accountability, peace, love, unity and forgiveness.

He said these are the pillars of development.
