Museveni to commission Kashenyi-Mitooma-Katabi road

President Yoweri Museveni while on his second day of campaigning in Ankole, will commission the Kashenyi-Mitooma-Katabi access road.
The commissioning of the road will be done at midday, and thereafter, at 2:00 pm Museveni will meet the leaders in Bushenyi, according to his campaign team.
The total length of the project is 12.32 km (Kashenyi - Mitooma -11.52km and Kitabi Seminary Access -0.8km).
The road was constructed by the Chongqing International Construction Corporation (CICO). The total contract amount, UNRA says, has been sh49.199bn.
Meanwhile, Museveni will later today, at 7:00 pm, address the people of the sub-region on television and radio stations, in Runyankole.
