Tumukunde blocked from accessing Bundibugyo town

Tumukunde's rally was taken to a venue that is 20km before Bundibugyo town.

BUNDIBUGYO - Gen Tumukunde has been denied access to Bundibugyo town. His coordinators had booked Booma grounds for his campaign rally.

"The DPC Bundibugyo refused to host our candidate at the Booma grounds because it is in the middle of the town, we suggested another venue but he instead refused. We have now been taken to a venue that is 20km before Bundibugyo town," said Godmercy Masereka, Tumukunde's coordinator.

The DPC Taban Swaibu said that they chose Burondo primary school playground in Burondo sub-county because it is less populated and away from the business centre of Bundibugyo district.
