Flooding at Pakwach Bridge disrupts traffic

Although the water levels had receded on Tuesday morning and traffic was able to flow, travellers have been advised to take precaution.

On Monday evening the river Nile burst its banks causing flooding at the Pakwach bridge in Nwoya district in northern Uganda.

The incident last happened in December 2019; this led to the blocking of traffic on the Pakwach-Karuma Road for nearly two days.
