The party has held several meetings with the aim of bringing unity and peace within the party.
The NRM delegates in Kalungu district held a reconciliation meeting chaired by the district chairperson for Kalungu district Hajji Twaha Kiganda Ssonko.
The meeting was addressed by Mike Kennedy Ssebalu who represented the NRM executive committee.
The party has held several meetings with the aim of bringing unity and peace within the party. Several party members have since left to stand as independents after losing in the primary elections.
The meetings have been held in several regions of the country each with a CEC representative. In the western region the meetings were led by Prime Minister, Ruhakana Ruganda. In the East, Charles David Enepu has been in charge and recently held a meeting in Kalungu district.
