NUP's case deferred to October 21

According to sources, police had come to man security thinking that there would be chaos from NUP supporters that could have come at court.

Police that was deployed at Twed Tower, was finally withdrawn after being informed that the judgment into NUP's ownership case has been postponed to Wednesday (October 21, 2020).


The Kasese Woman MP, Winnie Kiiza, who had also turned up at court to bear witness as the judgment is being made, told New Vision, that she was also not informed that the presiding Judge Musa Sekaana, made the communication through court on Thursday (October 15, 2020) night.


According to sources, police had come to man security thinking that there would be chaos from NUP supporters that could have come at court.


However, Kiiza has condemned court for delaying the case, saying this has greatly affected the progress of the party. She said, she had come to show solidarity to NUP.
