According to one of the witnesses, and also an employee at the Fuel station, the fire broke out from a Canter Truck which was carrying Jerry cans that were being filled with fuel.

"The outbreak was a shock to us," she said, adding that they only saw the jerry cans on top of the truck catching fire which led to an outburst, destroying part of the station.

One of the survivors alleges that the jerry cans might have caused the fire outbreak.

Two cars, one canter truck and a saloon car have been destroyed to ruins.
