SC Villa told to pay Kalyowa's outstanding wages

Midfielder Emmanuel Kalyowa is a happy man after the FUFA Dispute Resolution Chamber requested SC Villa to pay him after going several months without pay.

"SC Villa has been ordered to pay the player his overdue payables of sh11,700,000 within 30 days from the date (25.8.2020) of this decision. In the event that the amount due to Emmanuel Kalyowa is not paid by SC Villa within the stated time limit, the present matter shall be submitted, upon request, to FUFA for consideration.

Kalyowa is directed to inform SC Villa immediately and directly of the account number to which the remittance is to be made and to notify the Chamber of every payment received," read communication in part.

Kalyowa in August took to social media to express his dismay over the unpaid arrears before he was advised to take the matter to the relevant authorities to seek assistance.

In a Facebook post on June 29, he condemned the club over the way they handled the matter.

Villa decided to pay some of the players that were likely to remain for next season their arrears for a few months.

Apart from Villa, sides like Busoga United, Kyetume, Maroons, and Onduparaka among others that are struggling to pay players.
