Urban TV's Conan Tumusiime elated by Ipsos media ranking

According to an Ipsos Uganda Quarter one and Quarter two ranking of media personalities and media houses released on Monday, deejays featured prominently unlike in Q2 than Q1 and their argument is that night music shows increased their popularity and activity on social media.

The top five media personalities in quarter one were Canary Mugume, Lynda Ddane, DJ Aludah, Selector Jay and Conan Tumusiime.

In quarter two, the top five were Faridah Nakazibwe, Lynda Ddane, Crysto Panda, Douglas Lwanga and DJ Roja.
However, it is important to note that while in the first quarter only three DJs featured, the second quarter had six deejays.
As usual, some people had bones to pick.

@Stevemore13: Where is the full report coz I do not trust this? Tumusiime who made it to the list in quarter one for the top twitter handle mentions is excited about it and argues that the whole influencer thing came from advertisers looking to break the barrier of traditional advertising.

 He also mentions that there are people on social media who are like artistes that want to pay to be featured. He advised entertainers not to be obsessed with these rankings though.
