Vipers SC has appointed Simon Njuba as the club's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Njuba replaces Peter Lwanga who was relieved of his duties in January.

The new CEO will be responsible for executing the club's strategic objectives and handling day-to-day activities.

Njuba has been in charge in an acting capacity since Lwanga's departure.

This is not the first time Njuba is holding a management position at Vipers. In 2016, he was appointed the transfer matching system (TMS) manager of the club.

Njuba stepped into that role replacing TMS managers Haruna Kyobe and Tadeus Kitandwe who had been suspended by FUFA through its ethics and integrity committee for alleged forgeries in the transfer of midfielder Joseph Mpande.

Njuba was handed the instruments of power by Vipers legal director Alex Luganda
