Former Makindye East MP John Ssimbwa has threatened to seek court intervention to issue an injunction against the ongoing electoral process in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.

Yesterday Simbwa picked nomination forms and is supposed to pay sh10m in order to be allowed into the race.

However, Ssimbwa says the party's electoral commission has denied him access to the electoral regulation, voters' register among others yet these are critical in preparation for the elections.

The Chairman of the commission Dr. Tanga Odoi said he would soon give the guidelines to Ssimbwa.

On Monday, President Yoweri Museveni picked his nomination forms as the NRM party Presidential flag- bearer for the 2021 general elections.
