Midfielder Bright Anukani joins KCCA FC

He becomes KCCA’s sixth signing of the transfer window

Midfielder Bright Anukani's move to KCCA FC is a done deal.

Sources at the club reveal that Anukani joined the 13-time league champions on season long loan deal.

KCCA wanted to sign Anukani on permanent terms, however, Proline placed a huge price tag on the player.

Before signing for KCCA FC, Anukani first renewed contract at Proline FC for another year to make it two years left on his contract.

Anukani has been an influential player for Proline with the 2018/19 season his best to date. He guided Proline to the Uganda Cup and FUFA Big League trophies including leading the club's promotion to the Uganda Premier League.

The 20-year-old was also vital as Proline took part in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Anukani who was one of nominees for the 2019 player of the year after playing a starring role in Uganda winning the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup and securing qualification for the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

He becomes KCCA's sixth signing of the transfer window after Ashraf Mugume, Charles Lwanga, Italian-born Stephen Mazengo Loro, utility player Denis Iguma and Pius Obuya.
