KAMPALA - The Lubaga Social Justice Center (LSJC) members have been arrested while launching the food distribution campaign in Nalukolongo railway market, in Kampala on Wednesday morning.

The group's team leader Habib Buwembo and three others were arrested and detained at Nateete Police Station by ASP Vicent Mbaziira, with the help of the Local Defence Unit officers.

The group claimed that their motive was to lobby for food items from the rich so that it can be distributed to the poor.

"Although the government has been distributing food among the vulnerable Ugandans, many people are still starving because the food has not yet reached them while those who got say it was of substandard," said Buwembo.
