IN BRIEF | DROWNING 

KYOTERA - Three girls from the same family drowned in Kyeerwa swamp located in Kabaale village, Kakuuto county. 

The deceased who were buried on Tuesday include Josephine Nakafeero and Maria Nannyonyi, both 14-years-old pupils of Kakuuto Central Primary School in primary six.

The other one is Sharon Nazziwa, 16, a senior one student from Insula Christian High School Kakuuto.  

The trio was trying to cross the road cut off by the floodwater from the swamp as they were going to collect firewood.
