Politicians who give out food face attempted murder

President Museveni said it is a serious offence for opportunistic politicians to distribute food at this time of the pandemic
President Yoweri Museveni has said anyone; especially politicians who will be found distributing food items to Ugandans will be charged with attempted murder and thrown into prison.
The President said yesterday in his address to the nation that it was wrong to use such time of the pandemic to distribute items to vulnerable Ugandans.
Museveni mentioned this while he outlined new measures to fight coronavirus in the country.
