We are ready for coronavirus - Mulago head

The executive director of Mulago Hospital, Dr. Byarugaba Baterana, has said the hospital is ready for the coronavirus, saying they have got all the equipment to handle any patient who comes with the virus.

This was during a tour he conducted for journalists. He says the hospital has established a facility to handle any patients that would come it, saying they have the beds, the equipment, and the food to give to the patients.

He says the facility has been equipped with 900 beds and each bed is equipped with modern breathing equipment such as oxygen masks, to avoid any spread of the virus.

The hospital has increased vigilance on cleanliness, including establishing handwashing facilities at the entrance.
