Top Chief Executive Officers (CEO's) in the country get an opportunity to open up more avenues for their businesses when they meet at the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort today to challenge themselves over a round of golf.

Golf is the ultimate networking environment for all kinds of professionals and services and it is one of the main reasons for Friday's CEO Golf Tournament that has attracted 100 players including those close to the CEO level.

According to Liquid Telecom CEO Dennis Kahindi, the sponsors of the one-day event, this is going to become an annual pilgrimage for the top industry CEO's to not only come and associate but also to relax and get opportunities for business interactions while walking the fairways and greens of the beautiful Serena Course.

"The objective is to bring CEO's together so they can interact among their peers. They are going to compete under the medal format and we expect some interesting scores as they enjoy themselves," Kahindi said.

"We intend to make this an annual flagship event that brings CEO's and key decision-makers together for competition  as we also grow the sport of golf in the country,"

There will be standard trophies for the top players in each of the competition groups A, B, and C on top of prizes for the nearest to the pin and longest drives.
