Defending champions Heathens welcome the Entebbe Mongers to Kyadondo as the Nile Stout Rugby League returns from the Christmas break with five games today.

Heathens started the season on fire, smashing title rivals Betway Kobs and Stanbic Black Pirates to go top of the early running, and the Mongers will have to be exceptional to end the champions' unbeaten run.

Still, the Heathens are taking nothing for granted.

"It is definitely going to be a tough encounter and we are aware of Mongers' abilities, but we are up for the challenge," team captain Michael Wokorach said.

Coaches are sweating over player-sharpness after a long Christmas break to the point the Pirates' tactician Robert Musinguzi is cautioning his charges against complacency in their home clash with Impis.
