Vision Group to publish inaugural food magazine

Dec 14, 2019

The magazine has varied tantalising content, including recipes and tips that will make anyone’s life in the kitchen easier

"If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world," goes the famous saying.

This festive season, Vision Group is determined to help you achieve this in more ways than one.

Next Sunday, all readers will receive a beautiful and information-packed 32-page food magazine; the first of its kind from Vision Group. The inaugural issue of the food magazine, dubbed ‘Dine', will be inserted free of charge in Sunday Vision and distributed across the country.

This could not have come at a better time according to weekend editions' editor, Felix Osike.

"Presenting it in time for the Christmas festivities is what we aimed to achieve and we are glad we made it. Our readers have the perfect Christmas gift that will assist them as they prepare their Christmas meals," he said.

The magazine has varied tantalising content, including recipes and tips that will make anyone's life in the kitchen easier. Also, flipping through the magazine, one will be spoilt for choice with cuisine choices going from West Africa to India through Uganda.

The lead feature is about chef Bernard Steyn, the man behind the exciting menu at Skyz Hotel in Naguru, who shares how he found his way into the kitchen. He also shared the inspiration behind his unique recipes and packaged a one-of-a-kind Christmas gift for you - a typically Ugandan recipe.

The magazine also presents an expose of the now-famous Keto diet, explaining the Dos and Don'ts of this ‘dream' diet. Those who are looking to dine out don't have to look any further.

"The Dine magazine provides a guide to various hotels and restaurants across the country where you can eat out this Christmas if you are looking for hustle free festivities," Osike says.

Don't miss your free copy in Sunday Vision next weekend.
