The Financial Reporting (FiRe) Awards is organised by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) in partnership with the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) and the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE).

The award, established in 2011, aims to foster prudent financial reporting in Uganda and to reward excellence in financial reporting in Uganda. The theme for this year's awards was ‘'Integrated Reporting: Re-defining Organisational Success''.

It emphasised on a more holistic form of reporting the value created by an entity, by considering both the financial capital and non-financial resources such as human, social, and intellectual capital.
