The life of Ugandans in the slums

Every single day is a hustle in the slums but the courage to keep moving and making life better never dies.  Just like the saying when life gives you lemons you make lemonade, people work hard in anticipation of a better life.

Slum-dwellers appeal for help

Drainage in most parts of Kampala is still a big problem. This being a rainy season, slum dwellers are the most affected.

In the slums of Banda, Kamwokya, Kibumbira Mulago zone, and Kalerwe market businesses have been affected. People barely work when it rains heavily which at the end of the day has a negative impact on the standards of living.
