4:57pm | FULL TIME: Golola Moses happy
Of the two coaches, one is walking off the pitch the happier, more contented.
Edward Golola is his name.
The same cannot be said of George Ssimwogerere.
They will have a good night's sleep . . .
. . . not quite for them. Time to ponder what could have been. What went wrong.

40 min | Another goal . . . anyone?
We are left with five minutes to get into the dressing rooms. Can we have a goal before the break?
Another goal for Vipers would give them a crucial cushion.
An equaliser by Express, however, would make for an interesting second half.

35 min | Vipers commanding proceedings
It is still Vipers in control. Both sides have had chances. We could have been seeing a healthier scoreline by now.

30 min | Chances for Bayo
Half an hour on the clock it is - and we have seen plenty of action since kickoff.
Fahad Bayo would be on a hattrick at this point. A chance falls to the spritely forward, but he is not quick enough to get to a deliciously delivered freekick by Bobosi Byaruhanga.
Again, Bayo is through on goal, but Express goalie Kyamera has seen enough of the attacker to allow him score again.
On the other end, Mutombora is tested by Fank Ssenyondo, but the effort, while it is a good idea, is not good enough to trouble the Venoms keeper.

23 min | Mascot
Have you seen the Vipers mascot?
_____________________________
16 min | End to end stuff
It has been a bright start for the hosts. Industrious Dan Sserunkuuma makes a run into the final third, passes to goalscorer Bayo but Express goalkeeper Tony Kyamera will not be troubled much.
Meanwhile, focus is soon on the other end of the pitch. The Red Eagles' Muhammad Yiga tries his luck several yards out, and only does well to draw home keeper Fabien Mutombora into a fine save.
We have a contest here.
