Notice from Ministry of Education

1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 The Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) is organizing the twenty sixth (26th) Annual Education and Sports Sector Review 2019 (ESSR) to assess the performance of the sector for FY 2018/19, draw lessons that will guide the implementation of FY 2019/20 planned activities and to inform the budgetary process for FY 2020/21.

1.2 The theme for this year's ESSR is "Enhancing Learning Achievements for Productivity and Prosperity". The workshop will focus mainly on strengthening the development of relevant skills and dispositions including critical thinking, innovation and creativity, teamwork, effective communication and life-long learning. The theme necessitates adoption of a holistic approach to teaching and learning that recognizes the ever-changing global technological advancements, which require innovations in how learners are taught and prepared for productive and gainful employment. CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON THIS NOTICE
