Team Ultra wins Coronation Golf Tournament

Rose Azuba returned 39 points to inspire Team Ultra to win the Coronation Golf Tournament played at Kitante on Saturday.

Ultra, comprising of Mark Ntege, Billy Patrick and Frank Mugambagye collected a total of 105 points to beat Kalema II and Case Clinic teams to the top prize by two and three points respectively.

Carol Namutebi who was also the best the individual lady was the star for Kalema II with 42 stable ford points. Her sister Petra Nalwoga got 32 points with Josephine Babirye and William Mutyaba carding 29 and 26 points respectively.

Second runners up Case Clinic had Douglas Schreeck (38pts), David Musisi (33pts), Wakholi Peter (31pts) and Dube Zephania (31pts) amassing 102 points to finish third overall.

The top individual performers included Andrew Opio and Carol Naumutebi who returned 41 and 42 points respectively while Douglas Schreeck (38pts) beat Lawrence Marino by a point to win the men's Group A.

Kim Jeong and Lim Lim were the top actors in Group B with 40 and 39 points respectively while Max Aksoy (36pts) and Tom Kakaire (34pts) were the top performers in Group C.

The top individual accolades in the ladies categories went to Rose Azuba and Petra Nalwoga, Mary Zaramba and Kwon Sung in Groups A and B respectively.

The nearest to the pin prizes were grabbed by Anthony Agaba and Josephine Babirye while the longest drives were achieved by Joseph Kasozi and Liz Kansiime.

The different winners walked away with Sheraton, Temptations and Unilever hampers in the one-day tournament presided over by Owekitibwa Robert Wagwa Nsibirwa and organised to celebrate Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi'S 26th coronation anniversary.
