Kanyiginya needs sh100m for heart surgery in India

Sixteen-year-old Prillah Kanyiginya has been in severe pain since she was born with a heart problem.

According to the Uganda Heart Institute, Kanyiginya needs over sh100m to undergo a specialized surgery in India.

According to the documents signed by Dr. Peter Lwabi, a consultant paediatrician/cardiologist at Uganda Heart Institute, Kanyiginya needs a surgical repair on her heart.

Kanyiginya, a Senior Three student in Kabarole says that she experiences severe pain.

The documents indicate that Kanyiginya may require cardiac catheterization prior to the repair.
