Suspecting that she was being followed by some unidentified men on a motorcycle, State Minister for ICT, Aidah Nantaba Sunday afternoon rushed to Naggalama Police division headquarters for refuge.

The minister who was driving from Kayunga to Kampala after a weekend break, told police that she survived gunmen who had trailed her for some kilometers.

"I only survived after I involved police. These people with hoods were on a motor bike which had followed us for some time," Nantaba told a confidant who rushed to Naggalama.

Two hours after she recorded a statement at Naggalama, Police sources revealed that one of the suspects has since been shot dead in a pursuit in Kayunga.
