KCCA FC Soccer Academy's chances of winning the FUFA Junior U19 League suffered a setback following its 1-1 draw at home with Maroons over the weekend.
The Lugogo side that has lost two finals, remains top of the Treble Group with 38 points despite dropping two points. Vipers who thrashed URA 5-0 at St Mary's Stadium are second on 36 points with a game in hand.
League top scorer Sadat Anaku (22 goals) was on target for KCCA while Samuel Omara scored for Maroons.
In the Hattrick Group, Hillary Onek scored the only goal as leaders BUL beat Nyamityobora 1-0 to extend their lead to 32 points, while Bright Stars defeated Express 1-0 courtesy of Shafik Kakande's goal.
At the end of the season, the top sides from each of the groups meet in the final to decide the champion of the league.
Vipers beat Onduparaka 1-0 in the final to win last season's edition.
