Lead by club president Amon Ainebyona as the head coach and head of the delegation, the pressure is on to show the competition that they still have the x-factor.

Even though KAVC will take a highly inexperienced team to the Zone 5 Club Championship set to start tomorrow in Rwanda, they still believe they can win it.

Lead by club president Amon Ainebyona as the head coach and head of the delegation, the pressure is on to show the competition that they still have the x-factor.

"Our expectations are to actually compete with the top teams in the region. We have a young team with a mix of a few senior players. So this is going to be good exposure for them," Ainebyona said.

He admits it will not be easy but the team is very talented and tall, so they do expect to win the whole competition.

KAVC will not be the only team representing Uganda at the zone 5, they will, however, be joined by the league champions Nemostars who are on a quest to get fit for the championships.

The league champions left for Rwanda on Tuesday, morning overly optimistic of their chances as they seek to get to full match fitness before the Africa Club Championships in Egypt.

These two teams need to produce top-notch results because they will fly Uganda's flag against some of the region's top men's volleyball clubs.
