Earlier inside the Supreme Court where the hearing of the age limit appeal unfolded.
Erias Lukwago, who the Kampala Lord Mayor, is part of the petitioners' legal team. Lawyer Male Mabirizi, one of the petitioners, has represented himself.

Nairobi hotel attackers 'shot dead'
According to AFP, CCTV footage broadcast on Kenyan media showed four black-clad, heavily armed men entering the complex on Tuesday afternoon.
At least one of them blew himself up at the start of the attack.
A police source said two attackers had been shot dead Wednesday morning after a prolonged shootout.

Outgoing Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima has handed over office to his successor Fred Enanga, who starts a second stint in this position.
Kayima was all praises for the team he headed as "committed and competent officers that worked as a family".

At the Supreme Court
On Wednesday, it was the government's turn to make their submissions before the panel of sevem judges led by Chief Justice Bart Katureebe.
Attorney General William Byaruhanga was the first to deliver his oral arguments, before the court went into recess.
The government team is counter-arguing a case by a group of petitioners to have the ruling by the Constitutional Court on the lifting of the presidential age limit quashed.

Vending of cooked food banned
The KCCA health inspector, Dr Emilian Ahimbisibwe, says they will crack down on all those who do not follow the food vending regulations.
According to the regulations, anybody who sells food in the city must have undergone a medical check-up by KCCA and is issued a licence to vend cooked food.
"Only persons working in restaurants and hotels are entitled to selling food stuffs since they have the requirement from KCCA," Ahimbisibwe says.

Age limit appeal: The Background
On July 26, 2018, the Constitutional Court, in a majority decision of 4:1 okayed the removal of presidential age limit, but unanimously declared the seven-year extension of the term of MPs and local government as unconstitutional.
In the ruling, the Deputy Chief Justice, Alfonse Owiny-Dollo, justices Remmy Kasule, Elizabeth Musoke and Cheborion Barishaki agreed with the removal of the presidential age limit, while Justice Kenneth Kakuru dissented and wanted the entire Act nullified.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court - the top-most court in the country - is back for a second day of hearing of the age limit petition. On Tuesday, the petitioners, including lawyer Male Mabirizi (who represented himself), presented their oral submissions before the seven-member panel.
Today, it's the government's turn to respond.
The court sits in Kololo.
