FUFA legal manager, Dennis Lukambi indicated that they not ready to give chance to anyone to duplicate a Cranes jersey.

FUFA Deputy CEO Humphrey Mandu has cautioned the public on counterfeit jerseys on the market.

"We are aware that there are people who are illegally selling the Uganda Cranes jerseys. As you know, the federation has patent rights to its properties and the national team jersey is one of those,"noted Mandu at a press conference held at FUFA House in Mengo

"FUFA has an understanding with Mafro- the sole manufacturers of Uganda Cranes original and replica jerseys and thus FUFA remains the owner and sole importer of the Uganda Cranes jerseys and any other products related to the brand with the FUFA logo."

FUFA unveiled Mafro Sports manufactured Uganda Cranes jerseys in October last year.

At the launch, FUFA president Moses Magogo indicated that Mafro were just manufacturers of the national team jerseys and not the official kit sponsors, though they were still in negotiations about the same.

Just like Mandu, FUFA legal manager, Dennis Lukambi indicated that they not ready to give chance to anyone to duplicate a Cranes jersey.
