Kampala Queens completed the first round of the FUFA Women Elite League on a high note following their 4-2 victory over Town View, to move top of the Elizabeth Group on 14 points.
Zaina Namuleme notched a brace before Damali Matama and Resty Nanziri added the other goals for Kampala Queens. Elizabeth Anyango and Shakira Nakasango each had a goal for Town View.
In the Victoria group, leaders (19 points) Kawempe Muslim could be on the verge of winning their consecutive fifth title having gone the entire first round of the league unbeaten.
