The 7Hills Ultimate Tournament remains a prominent feature on the Uganda Ultimate Frisbee Association (UUFA) calendar.

It continues to bring together seasoned players across East Africa to make one of the best events in the region.

Impala, technically Uganda's finest Ultimate club had dominated the annual showpiece winning back to back in 2016 and 2017 until they lost their grip on the title Sunday at Kyambogo Cricket Oval.

The dream of becoming the first side to complete a three-peat crumbled at the hands of Kisumu Ultimate 11-4 in what was a one sided final.

Impala hoping to capitalise on home advantage and the return of the experienced Brian Kaswa could not contain an aggressive Kisumu side who were runner-up in last year's edition.

The two sides nonetheless proved that they both remain the most consistent sides. Impala reached their third straight final. Importantly Kisumu got their revenge having lost to Impala last year in Entebbe.

"We were a bit rusty with some of the players not fully fit but not to take away anything from the eventual champions who have managed to continue improving themselves and re-strategizing" said Umar Katumba, captain of Impala Ultimate.

The club will now go off season with the looming club elections expected to take center stage in October.

Conversely a series of activities are lined up for next season including the usually interesting All Africa Ultimate Frisbee Championships in South Africa.
