Titans beat Trademark 8-2, 8-7, 8-0

Warriors beat Trailblazers 8-2, 8-7, 8-3

Lugogo Boys beat Changers 8-2, 8-2, 2-8

Defending champions Tennis Titans defeated Trademark Kinetic to move joint top of the Kampala Premier Tennis League.

Titans defeated Kinetic 8-2, 8-7, 8-0 to move level on 42 points although Kinetic have a better goal difference. It also served as timely revenge for Titans who lost the first round game in July.

The four-month tournament involves six teams including PTC Warriors, Trail Blazers, Game Changers and Lugogo Boys.

Elsewhere, PTC Warriors beat Trailblazers 8-2, 8-7, 8-3 while Lugogo Boys defeated Game Changers 8-2, 8-2, 2-8.

Each team is comprised of eight players with at least one junior player and a lady. The tournament which is played in a league format will have the top four teams squaring off in the playoffs after the preliminary round.

The league is also subjected to International Tennis Federation code of conduct and rules.

Titans cruised past Kinetic to clinch the maiden title at Lugogo last season.
