KCCA FC have intensified their preparations for the CAF Champions League game against Township Rollers of Botswana.

The Lugogo side today evening came from 2-0 down to defeat Tanzanian giants Azam FC 4-2 in a warm up match at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.

Aggrey Morris and Danny Lyanga gave Azam FC a 2-0 lead before KCCA bounced back through Muzamiru Mutyaba, Timothy Awany, Allan Kyambadde and Patrick Kaddu.

KCCA face Township Rollers next weekend in their second last continental tie at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

Esperance who qualified to the quarter-finals top group A with ten points, three above second placed Al-Ahly. Township Rollers and KCCA come third and fourth respectively with three points each.

KCCA ‘s chances of making it to the last eight are slim after they went down 1-0 to Esperance last month.  The Lugogo side can only bounce back if they win their remaining two games against Township Rollers at home and Al-Ahly away.
