Mujib Kasule steps down as Proline chairman

Proline is expected to announce a new head coach ahead of its promotional push in the FUFA Big League

Proline Football Club director Mujib Kasule has stepped down as the chairman of the club following its relegation from the Uganda Premier League.

Kasule who is the majority shareholder of the club, was also the head coach and has now been replaced by Hussein Kato Kalibbala.

Proline CEO William Bakkabulindi revealed the changes in a statement on Wednesday.

"A chairman, Kato Hussein Kablibbala was appointed to replace Mujib Kasule. Kato has been vice chairman for the last two years. This is a routine occurrence as per our statutes, "read part of the communication.

Kato's appointment was made during the club's annual general meeting.

Upon his appointment, Kato immediately selected his new management  team comprising Muhammed Lubega (vice chairman), Hajji Nasser Kigozi (legal ), Hajji Bashir Sebankyaaye (finance ), Kassim Musa and Dauda Bwanika  (technical), Hassan Wasswa (operations), Lamman Masaba and Ali Luyima (welfare), Ali Galabuzi (Ethics), Andrew Lubega (marketing).

Anthony Ndawula, Yasin Buwembo and Flavia Tumusiime are committee members while Asuman Bakshi and Joan Kibuuka were appointed deputy CEO and administrative officer respectively.
