City Oilers look to bounce back after mini-slump

Aug 07, 2018

After 18 games, Oilers sit third on the log with 32 points

City Oilers have a chance to make a comeback from their 94-79 loss against KIU Titans, when they take on KCCA Men today at the YMCA Court.

The reigning champions had been enjoying a rich vein of form, until they fell to the Titans five days ago.

Now, Mandi Juruni's side take on a motivated KCCA side who shocked Pemba Warriors 77-54 on Saturday in what proved to be their return to winning ways after two consecutive defeats against KIU and UCU.

The Oilers will come into the game wary of their opponents prowess as the KCCA side have already shocked a giant this season in Betway Power when they defeated the log leaders 57-54 in July.

After 18 games, Oilers sit third on the log with 32 points, while KCCA sit 10th, eight points behind their rivals of the day on 24.
