Volleyball: youngsters impress officials

The NSSF KAVC International Volleyball tournament director, Levian Ashaba has urged the schools that qualified for the finals to continue improving themselves.

Ashaba made the call after schools including St. James Primary, Samaritan Primary and Sun Rise Primary made it to the finals at a tournament held at Namugongo Secondary  and vocational school on Sunday

"I am impressed with the quality of volleyball the teams have exhibited, and the sport is growing," Ashaba said.

In the girls U-12 category, Sunrise A will face Sunrise B in the final, while in the boys category St. James will take on Samaritan Primary School.

In the girls U-14 category, Sunrise Primary School will face Samaritan, while St. James will take on Samaritan in the boys' category.

The finals of the event will be held on August 5 at Lugogo indoor stadium.
