Nemostars fell to their second loss of the weekend after their 3-1(20-25, 25-22, 25-13, and 25-19) defeat to UCU at the University campus on Sunday afternoon.

A lot hinged on Nemostars coming out shinning against UCU after they unceremoniously lost to KCCA on Saturday in a match that was theirs to win.

On Sunday, under the crackling heat, they started off the match well by taking the first set quite comfortably.

A quick recovery by UCU in the second set made things that much difficult for Nemo who could not master anything to recover in the second.

The third set was easily the worst set of the match as Nemo lost the set 25-13. They suffered for playing poorly early in the set and they were plagued by poor decision making handing the Doves their second set.

The fourth was almost similar to the third but they failed to capitalise when it mattered bringing their weaknesses to the forefront.

This is our fifth game of the season we have lost two won three there is still room for correction. Today we failed to shine when it mattered, our reception failed and whenever reception fails you cannot execute your plan," Nemostars coach Andrew Okapis said.

Okapis also added that his team will be going back to the drawing board to clear up those errors.
