BODABODA REGISTRATION

KAMPALA - The meeting between Kampala city minister Betty Kamya and bodaboda riders turns rowdy after the cyclists cited Rasid Kawawa, who was in the meeting, as not one of them.

According to reports, Kamya had invited about 100 bodaboda riders at the Office of the President in Kampala to discuss the issue of registering them.

However, as the meeting was going on and members were making submissions, Kawawa made a contribution which was rejected by bodaboda cyclists, saying he was not one of them to make suggestions on their behalf.

The cyclists then in unison stood up in protest, prompting the Police to intervene calm the situation.
