Daniel Sserunkuma opened his account as he made his league debut for Vipers as they beat Soana 1-0 at Kavumba Recreation ground as the second round of the Azam Uganda Premier League got underway.

Sserunkuma who joined Vipers from Express took his tally to seven goals this season.

Elsewhere, Onduparaka were wasteful as they settled for a goalless draw with Express on Saturday at Green Light stadium, Arua.

Ezra Bida and Yeffesi Mubiru were the biggest culprits as they failed to put the ball in the net for Onduparaka.
