Missing state attorney found

PIC: Fatuma Nabiwemba has been found

Fatuma Sendagire Nabiwemba, the principal state attorney at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has been found.

According to a statement released by the ODPP, Nabiwemba has been found alive and has reunited with her family.

However, Jane Okuo Kajuga, the ODPP spokesperson, refused to divulge details because investigations are ongoing.

"We are not at liberty to share any further information. We, however, call for respect of Fatuma and her family during this sensitive time, to allow for recovery from the traumatic experience of her disappearance," the statement reads,

Nabiwemba, who is also the deputy head of department for inspections and quality assurance and was stationed at the ODPP headquarters in Kampala, went missing on December 12 last year.

According to Kajuga, Nabiwemba was on official leave during that time but her family informed the prosecutions office after her disappearance.
