KAMPALA - The Cherubim Chamber Chorale, a local Christian choral musical group based in Kampala has thrown a musical concert in honour of Msgr Expedito Magembe, a  Catholic music composer and charismatic preacher based at Mount Zion Prayer Centre, Bukalango.

The evening concert at Pope Paul Memorial Hotel, Rubaga attracted an impressive audience.

The Cherubim choristers, who performed jointly with the Quintet Band, sang selected songs from Msgr Magembe's repertoire. Secular artiste Geosteady, a fan of Magembe, also performed.

The director of the choir, Jude Luwaga, said they had put up the show to appreciate the musical ministry of Magembe, which had given spiritual inspiration to many people.

Magembe thanked the choristers for appreciating his work. He asked the Christians to support the work of the Church wholeheartedly. He assured the Christians that God was just and faithful, which was why those who serve him have the assurance of eternal life.
