The final against Paidha Black Angels next week will be held at Green Light Stadium in Arua
Uganda Cup Final: Paidha Black Angels v KCCA (June 15th)
Denis Okot feels his side is ready to make history as the first KCCA FC team to win a double in the club's history.
The KCCA skipper who already guided the Lugogo side to the league title and group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup feels they need to do the same when they face Paidha Black Angels in the final next week at Green Light Stadium in Arua.
"We have already secured the league, which we defended successfully, winning a double would open a new chapter in the history of KCCA FC, something the club has never done," stated Okot.
Okot who is currently with the Uganda Cranes ahead of their 2019 AFCON qualifier with Cape Verde, feels his side has all it takes to win the final despite their unimpressive record in the past finals.
The Lugogo side has lost its last four previous Uganda Cup finals in 2015, 2014, 2007 and 2005.
