KCCA v Sundowns: Onyango, Billiat to miss for visitors

KAMPALA - Goalkeeper Denis Onyango and Khama Billiat and  are some of the key players that will not feature for Mamelodi Sundowns due to injuries when the CAF Champions League holders face KCCA this Saturday.

The two sides will face off at Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo to decide who advances.

Despite not playing last Saturday, Onyango was part of the defending champions' 42-man contingent that arrived in Kampala on Wednesday while Billiat didn't make the trip.

The other doubtful player who travelled with the team is Sibusiso Vlakazi.

He sustained an injury when Sundowns played to goalless draw against Polokwane City in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday.

"I won't play but I am confident my fellow colleagues will put up a good performance and we qualify to the next round, " said Onyango, who is Uganda Cranes first-choice goalkeeper.

Sundowns will be expected to conduct their first training Thursday evening at Lugogo.
