Makerere adjusts graduation program

The new program will kick-off on February 21st with four colleges graduating

With just few days to the graduation ceremony of over 15,000 students, for efficiency, Makerere University has adjusted the event program. 

 

The new program will see graduands from Makerere University Business School (MUBS), graduating alone and School of Law graduating last, unlike recent programs. 

According to the University academic registrar, Alfred Masikye Namoah, the new program will kick-off on February 21st with four colleges; College of Engineering, Design Art and Technology (CEDAT), College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES), College of Natural Sciences (CONAS) and College of Education and External Studies (CEES). 

Students from the College of Business and Management Sciences and College of Computing (COBAMS), College of Computing and Information Sciences (COCIS), College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Biosecurity (COVAB), and College of Health Sciences (COHS) will graduate on February 22nd. 

Thursday 23rd has been designated exclusively for Makerere University Business School (MUBS) 

Students from College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS) and the School of Law will be the last to graduate on Friday 24th. 

Masikye further highlighted requirements for picking invitation cards for the ceremony as possession of receipt for graduation fees of sh110,000, the university identity card and names of invited guests.
