KCCA coach Mutebi confident after CAF draws

KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi (pictured) has said his side is targeting the group stages in the CAF Champions League.

His side was drawn against Angola's 1º de Agosto in the preliminary round of the competition.

"Our target is to try and go to the group stages. It's an interesting draw since teams in Angola tend to have a Brazilian approach," said Mutebi.

"They always want to dominate which we also do, so it will be an interesting match.

"We can't be scared. We have to take the challenge ahead of us."

KCCA will host the first leg between February 10 and 12 next year before travelling for the return leg a week later.

The winner between KCCA and Clube Desportivo 1º de Agosto will face defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the final round in March before heading to the group stages.
