George Lubowa notched a double as Lweza Orange Brigade extended their lead in the Hattrick Group of the FUFA U-17 Junior League.

The win put Lweza at 22 points, six above second placed Kirinya Jinja SS who thrashed Express 4-1 in Jinja. Fred Massa scored a hattrick before Brian Kalali added the other Kirinya while Billy Nkata scored a consolation for Express.

At Kawanda, home side Bright Stars lost 3-1 to JMC Hippos while The Saints drew 1-1 with Soana at Bombo.

Elsewhere, Vipers moved second in the Treble Group after beating Sadolin Paints 2-1 away at Bugembe. Martin Aprem and Khasim Balidawa scored for Vipers while Morgan Mayende netted for Sadolin Paints.

KCCA Soccer Academy tops the group with 26 points, but they were not in action over the weekend.
