SC Villa chief executive Ivan Kakembo said in a statement that the club ended the contractual relationship with Sserwadda because he failed to win six games in a row.

Sports Club Villa has said that their sacked coach Deo Sserwadda had to go because he had breached his performance based contract at the club when the Jogoos lost to Onduparaka FC in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

SC Villa chief executive Ivan Kakembo said in a statement that the club ended the contractual relationship with Sserwadda because he failed to win six games in a row.

"At the start of this season, Mr. Sserwada signed a performance-based contract with the club (Villa). The nature of appointment was a probational one; where he had to win the first six leagues for the contract to stand," Kakembo said.

After failing that test, the club's emergency executive committee sat and decided to end our contractual relationship with him.

Former assistant coach Shafiq Bisaso is the acting head coach now. Kakemba said that Bisaso had a different contract from Sserwadda's, that is why he can continue with the job.

A source at the club said that the club is looking at URA FC tactician Moses Basena who is currently away with the National team the Cranes.
